The Kosovo national football team has advanced three positions in the latest FIFA rankings, achieving its highest ranking ever.
The team, known as the Dardanians, is now ranked 101st in the monthly standings of the global football governing body, up from 104th last month.
Kosovo currently has 1218.22 points in the October rankings, compared to 1205.96 from the previous month.
Under the leadership of Franco Foda, the team ranks ahead of Trinidad and Tobago and behind Palestine.
This ranking comes after three consecutive victories in the Nations League, a record for Kosovo, which had never achieved such a positive streak in official matches before.
The Dardanians secured two wins this month, against Lithuania away and Cyprus at home.
