The first two months of this year have been marked by an increase in tax revenues in Kosovo, reflecting a higher level of compliance by taxpayers and continuous improvements in fiscal administration processes.

According to data from the Tax Administration of Kosovo, a total of €206.9 million in tax revenues was collected during this period. This represents an increase of €22.6 million, or 12.2 percent, compared to the same period last year.

The Tax Administration emphasized that this growth reflects not only improved revenue collection performance but also progress in strengthening tax administration and expanding the base of taxpayers who regularly fulfill their obligations.

The authority stated that it will continue working to consolidate this positive trend by advancing work processes, increasing the use of technology in tax administration, conducting deeper risk analysis, and intensifying activities against the informal economy.

Meanwhile, the Tax Administration of Kosovo reminded taxpayers that the deadline for submitting annual income tax declarations is March 31. The institution calls on all taxpayers to fulfill this legal obligation within the specified timeframe, using electronic services to ensure an easier and more efficient declaration process.
