Israeli outlet i24 News reports that Israel has confirmed Kosovo and Kazakhstan will join Morocco, Indonesia, Greece, and Albania in the International Stabilization Force (ISF) in Gaza. The multinational force aims to oversee the implementation of a ceasefire and the disarmament of Hamas.

According to the report, the force is expected to become operational by May.

Kosovo authorities have not yet provided official details regarding the country’s participation in Gaza.

Kurti: Kosovo Expressed Readiness to Participate

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti recently addressed the issue when asked about the Peace Board initiative.

He stated that Kosovo has already begun steps toward participation in the International Stabilization Force for Gaza and noted that Kosovo was represented at a conference in Doha, Qatar, by Bashkim Jashari.

Kurti emphasized Kosovo’s willingness to contribute, highlighting that the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) is internationally recognized for its expertise in search-and-rescue operations and demining. He added that Kosovo is also interested in participating in the political decision-making bodies of the force.

“The process will move forward,” Kurti underlined.
