Kosovo’s Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla, announced that he met today with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan. During the meeting, both sides reached an agreement on the mutual recognition of driver’s licenses.
“This meeting marks the achievement of the mutual recognition agreement for driver’s licenses between the Republic of Kosovo and the UAE. This agreement will facilitate the work and engagement of our citizens in both respective countries,” Sveçla stated.
“We discussed with His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan about opportunities for further cooperation in other areas covered by our ministries, and I take this opportunity to thank him once again for his full readiness to support the Republic of Kosovo,” Sveçla added.
He also expressed his gratitude to the working teams from both countries who, with dedication, finalized the agreement, which was signed today.
