Joint Training Between KSF and U.S. Army Strengthens Defense Partnership, Says U.S. Embassy

The U.S. Embassy in Pristina has welcomed the participation of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) in a joint military training exercise with the U.S. Army at the Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) in Fort Johnson, Louisiana.

In a recent Facebook post, the U.S. Embassy highlighted the significance of this milestone, emphasizing that it reflects the growing defense partnership between the United States and Kosovo. It also praised the KSF’s commitment to becoming a modern, professional, and mission-ready force capable of contributing to global peace and security.

“Stronger together on the path to readiness! We are proud to support the KSF through the EUCOM J7 – TWWFC program as they train alongside U.S. Army units at JRTC in Fort Johnson, Louisiana—one of the U.S. Army’s premier combat training centers,” the embassy wrote.

This joint training serves as a vital step in enhancing interoperability and operational readiness between the two military forces, solidifying Kosovo’s position as a reliable partner in international peacekeeping and defense cooperation.
