The Central Election Commission (CEC) has announced that from June 28 to August 29, 2025, citizens will have the opportunity to change their Voting Center within the same municipality. This is part of the preparations for the upcoming Local Elections.
During this 64-day period, eligible voters can check where they are currently registered to vote and request a change to a polling station closer to their residence within the same municipality.
How to Change Your Voting Center
The CEC outlined two methods for citizens to make this change:
- Electronically: Through the CEC’s online platform, which will become accessible at the start of the period on June 28.
- In Person: By submitting a request directly to the Municipal Election Commission in the municipality where they are registered as a voter.
The CEC encourages all citizens to verify their registration details and take advantage of this opportunity to facilitate the voting process.
