The Chief Prosecutor of the Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo, Blerim Isufaj, the Director General of the Secretariat of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, Sami Istrefi, and Special Prosecutor Naim Abazi have commenced an official visit to Washington, D.C., at the invitation of U.S. institutions.
During their stay, the delegation will participate in official events and hold important meetings, including attendance at the National Prayer Breakfast, a traditional international and institutional event that gathers senior representatives from governments worldwide.
As part of this official visit, Kosovo’s prosecutorial representatives are scheduled to meet with senior U.S. officials to discuss opportunities for enhancing professional cooperation, establishing intergovernmental partnerships, improving the efficiency of prosecutorial functions, and strengthening the rule of law in the Republic of Kosovo.
