Kosovo’s Deputy Prime Minister, Besnik Bislimi, is currently in Poland, where he participated in a discussion at the Trans-European Policy Studies Association on Friday.
Speaking from there, Bislimi stated that despite Kosovo’s “progress,” the country remains blocked in the Council concerning its membership in the European Union.
The center shared a quote from Bislimi’s remarks, where he emphasized that Kosovo, despite its progress, is still stalled in the Council of Europe.
“What is stuck in the EU enlargement process for Kosovo? Despite our progress in meeting the criteria and our readiness in the Commission and Parliament, we remain blocked in the Council,” he said.
