Wiesbaden, Germany – July 16, 2025 – At the official invitation of U.S. Army Chief of Staff, General Randy Alan George, the Commander of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF), Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari, is participating in the Conference of European Armies (CEA) held in Wiesbaden, Germany.
According to a statement by the KSF’s Public Information Office, defense chiefs from over 40 countries are attending the high-level conference, which this year is centered around the theme: “Building Readiness for Global Deterrence.”
The focus of the discussions has been on strategic thinking, collective preparedness, international cooperation, and enhanced interoperability among allied and partner nations. Delegates are also engaging in data-driven evaluations of military strategies, reinforcing the importance of joint capabilities in confronting global security threats.
“This forum plays a crucial role in aligning strategic priorities among European and transatlantic partners to ensure collective defense and peace,” the statement read.
The participation of Kosovo’s military leadership at such an important U.S.-led platform marks a significant step in strengthening Kosovo’s defense diplomacy, interoperability with NATO forces, and its growing profile as a reliable security partner in Europe.
