During an official visit to the United States, General Gjeneral Luan Jashari, Commander of the Kosovo Security Force (FSK), participated in several high-level meetings organized by the Consulate of the Republic of Kosovo in Iowa.
During the visit, General Jashari met with Iowa Secretary of State Paul Pate, mayors of Johnson and Norwalk, and other state officials. The meetings focused on strengthening cooperation and partnership between Kosovo and U.S. institutions.
In a statement, the FSK highlighted that General Jashari expressed gratitude for the unwavering support offered by U.S. officials to the Kosovo Security Force.
As part of the official agenda, General Jashari also visited a U.S. military veterans’ home in Iowa, where he was briefed on the institution’s activities, procedures, and its role in supporting veterans.
At the conclusion of his visit, General Jashari thanked all U.S. military veterans, emphasizing their contribution to global peace and security, and particularly recognizing those who served in Kosovo.
The visit underscores Kosovo’s ongoing commitment to strengthening international partnerships and honoring the enduring support of allied forces.
