“It was a great pleasure to welcome European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen to Kosovo yesterday, where we reaffirmed our commitment to EU membership — a goal reflected in our strengthened democracy and economic growth, especially over the last four and a half years,” Kurti wrote.

Strengthening Cooperation

Kurti noted that discussions also focused on deepening cooperation between Kosovo and the EU across key sectors, including:

  • Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
  • Defense
  • Agriculture

“We discussed enhancing our collaboration, particularly in ICT, defense, and agriculture, which hold significant potential for both sides. We look forward to working closely together to achieve our shared objectives,” Kurti added.

He stressed that Kosovo remains committed to close collaboration with the European Union to achieve common goals and advance the country’s EU integration aspirations.
