KQZ Appoints Over 15,000 Commissioners for February 9 Elections and More Than 150 for Diplomatic Missions

The Central Election Commission (KQZ) has appointed members for 2,533 Polling Station Councils within 903 Voting Centers across 38 municipalities in Kosovo for the upcoming parliamentary elections scheduled for February 9, 2025, reports Ekonomia Online.

According to the KQZ decision, the total number of appointed members, representing certified political entities participating in the elections, is around 15,000. More than 12,000 of them will be deployed in regular polling stations, while over 200 will oversee conditional voting stations.

Additionally, the KQZ appointed more than 2,300 members who will serve in vote-counting teams for parliamentary candidates across 38 Municipal Counting Centers throughout Kosovo. The commission also decided to review and verify cases where political entities have nominated individuals from different communities and replace them where necessary.

Furthermore, the KQZ appointed members of the Polling Station Councils who will be deployed in 43 polling stations within diplomatic missions abroad, where voting will take place on February 8, 2025.
