KQZ Assures Vote Integrity: Final Results Will Be Accurate

The Central Election Commission (KQZ) stated on February 12, 2025, that the integrity of the votes cast in the February 9th parliamentary elections has not been compromised. Despite challenges in the voting process, KQZ reassured that the final results will accurately reflect the voters’ will.

The KQZ emphasized its dedication to completing the vote counting and verifying the votes from candidates and political parties, including those from citizens with disabilities and overseas voting. Despite delays caused by technical issues with the online platform, the KQZ remains committed to transparency and precision in finalizing the results.

The KQZ also clarified that the issues with the platform have been addressed and that preliminary results are being processed, with Lëvizja Vetëvendosje (VV) leading with 40.86%, or 340,541 votes, followed by Partia Demokratike e Kosovës (PDK) with 22.04%, or 183,661 votes, and Lidhja Demokratike e Kosovës (LDK) at 17.62%, or 146,815 votes. The AAK-Nisma coalition has 7.45%, or 62,111 votes, securing the last seat above the 5% threshold.
