The Central Election Commission (KQZ) has announced the opening of its electronic platform for the confirmation of currently accredited observers or the addition of new ones ahead of the November 9, 2025 runoff elections for municipal mayors.

According to the KQZ, the deadline for confirming or adding observers is set for November 3, 2025, at 16:00.

“The electronic platform is now open for confirming existing observers or adding new ones for the second round of municipal elections to be held on November 9, 2025,” the Commission stated.

The KQZ invited certified political entities, NGOs, governmental and intergovernmental organizations, international election and human rights bodies, media outlets, and foreign representatives—who have already been accredited—to complete the confirmation process within the given timeframe.

The Commission also reminded participants that current ID cards issued for the October 12, 2025 elections will not be valid for the runoff.
