The Central Election Commission (KQZ) of Kosovo has released the preliminary results of the second round of local elections in 18 municipalities.
At a press conference, Kreshnik Radoniqi, Chairman of KQZ, provided a detailed breakdown of the results in each municipality:
- Gjakovë: Ardian Gjini 56.03% (17,024 votes), Ardian Gola 43.97%
- Gjilan: Alban Hyseni 61.06%, Arbër Ismajli 38.94%
- Dragash: Bexhet Xheladini 58.45%, Shaban Shabani 41.55%
- Kaçanik: Sabedin Vishi 51.86%, Jeton Raka 48.14%
- Klinë: Zenun Elezaj 58.02%, Sokol Bashota 41.98%
- Fushë Kosovë: Valon Prebrezaj 54.99%, Besnik Osmani 45.01%
- Mitrovicë e Jugut: Faton Peci 53.53%, Arian Tahiri 46.47% (two polling stations pending update)
- Obiliq: Halil Thaçi 51.09%, Xhafer Gashi 48.91%
- Rahovec: Smajl Latifi 53%, Ali Dula 47%
- Pejë: Gazmend Muhaxheri 61.15%, Taulant Kelmendi 38.85%
- Prishtinë: Përparim Rama 51.54%, Hajrulla Çeku 48.46%
- Prizren: Shaqir Totaj 53.86%, Artan Abrashi 46.14%
- Suharekë: Bali Muharremaj 55.60%, Ardian Shala 44.40%
- Viti: Sokol Haliti 50.60%, Arsim Ademi 49.40%
- Vushtrri: Ferit Idrizi 54.27%, Sylejman Meholli 45.73%
- Junik: Ruzhdi Shehu 55.92%, Agron Kuçi 44.08%
- Mamushë: Abdulhadi Krasniç 53.58%, Fikret Morina 46.42%
- Kllokot: Bozhidar Dejanoviq 90.03%, Sreqko Spasiq 9.97%
Radoniqi emphasized that mail-in votes are expected to arrive by the end of next week, including votes from the diaspora, provisional ballots, and votes of citizens with disabilities. Final results will only be declared after all votes are counted.
