Several hundred citizens from Kragujevac have organized their departure to Belgrade today to join the student protest “See You on Vidovdan,” scheduled to begin at 6 PM.
This organized journey marks the first joint action by the united assemblies of Kragujevac’s local communities. Before leaving, Kragujevac residents stated they are going to Belgrade to show support for the students and expect a “large and peaceful gathering.”
The students in blockade announced their “See You on Vidovdan” protest, which will start at 6 PM at Slavija Square in Belgrade and is expected to last until 9 PM.
Ahead of the protest, the students delivered two ultimatums to the Serbian Government: the calling of snap parliamentary elections and the cessation of gatherings in Pionirski Park and Nikola Pašić Square. They demand that these ultimatums be met precisely by 9 PM.
