Memli Krasniqi, leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), commemorated the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks in the United States, calling them a deep wound for the democratic world.

Krasniqi emphasized that 9/11 remains a profound scar for democracy and a date that will never be forgotten.

As Kosovo, we understand well what it means for freedom to be threatened, and we value the sacrifice, unity, and strength with which the United States responded to terror 24 years ago,” he stated.

He also highlighted that this day serves as a moment to reaffirm the enduring values that link Kosovo and the United States.

Today, as we remember the victims and heroes of that day, we reaffirm our unwavering commitment to protect freedom, peace, and democracy—values that forever connect us with our American friends and allies,” Krasniqi added.
