“I had the honor of hosting the U.S. Ambassador to Kosovo, our valued friend Jeffrey Hovenier, at a farewell meeting.
On behalf of myself and the Democratic Party of Kosovo, I expressed my gratitude to Ambassador Hovenier for his outstanding contribution during challenging processes and situations for Kosovo. On this occasion, I gave him a photo of ours from the iconic meeting of 2010, as part of the delegations of then-Prime Minister Hashim Thaçi and Vice President Joe Biden.
I also presented him with the Declaration of Independence of Kosovo to thank him for his tireless commitment to advancing the shared interests between our two countries.
It has been a pleasure to cooperate on this journey. Wishing you further success, our friend!”
