The Chairman of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Memli Krasniqi, expressed his condolences following the passing of Ilmi Ramadani, describing him as a distinguished figure of resistance and state-building.
“Today we bid our final farewell to Ilmi Ramadani – a man who dedicated his entire life to freedom and the national cause. From his involvement in the underground movement, political imprisonment, service in the ranks of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), to the building of Kosovo’s institutions, Ilmi remained always committed to the homeland,” Krasniqi wrote on Facebook.
He added that Kosovo has lost a rare personality whose life and work will always be remembered with the highest respect.
“My deepest condolences to the family, friends, and all the people of Kosovo. Glory to his life and legacy!” he concluded.
