The Chairman of PDK, Memli Krasniqi, commemorated the Meja Massacre, honoring the 376 Albanians brutally killed by Serbian forces, Reporteri reports.
Krasniqi stressed that Kosovo will never stop seeking justice for the victims, the truth about the missing, and the punishment of war criminals.
“Today, on the anniversary of the Meja Massacre, we honor 376 unarmed civilians, brutally massacred by Serbian forces on April 27, 1999.
Many of them, sadly, remain missing even today — an open wound for their families and for all of Kosovo.”
He underlined that:
“The Meja Massacre remains one of the most painful testimonies of a regime’s barbarity aimed at ethnic cleansing.
Kosovo will never stop seeking justice for the victims, the truth about the missing, and the punishment of war criminals.
This is our debt to them, to ourselves, to the truth, and to our future.
Eternal glory to the martyrs of Meja!”
