The leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Memli Krasniqi, welcomed the new Italian Ambassador to Kosovo, Maurizio Antonini, for a meeting today.
During the discussion, Krasniqi emphasized the urgent need for Kosovo to break free from the current political deadlock, underlining that the country faces serious challenges which require functional institutions and concrete actions—not endless delays.
“Kosovo urgently needs to exit the deadlock,” said Krasniqi.
“Citizens are facing significant challenges and need effective institutions and actions—not indefinite waiting,” he added.
He also reiterated that PDK has always been ready for open communication, both with domestic stakeholders and international partners, in the interest of the country.
“PDK has proven its commitment to dialogue—with all local factors and our international friends—for the good of our country and citizens,” Krasniqi wrote.
