The chairman of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Memli Krasniqi, commemorated the 26th anniversary of the deaths of heroes Fehmi and Xhevë Lladrovci.
Through a Facebook post, Krasniqi stated that “from political organization and resistance, to Yugoslav prisons, and finally to the oath of fighting for freedom until death, Fehmi and Xheva were always together. Both had tied their personal fate to the fate of Kosovo.”
“For them, freedom was more precious than life. For the former, they would die with a smile on their faces – because they knew it was the only path to honor and eternity,” wrote the PDK leader.
“Forever grateful to them and to the thousands of men and women of the Kosovo Liberation Army, who, through sacrifice and selflessness, became the foundation of our horizon of freedom and our sovereign state.”
