The Chairman of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Memli Krasniqi, commemorated the 146th anniversary of the Albanian League of Prizren, describing it as a historic moment that awakened national consciousness and paved the way for the creation of the Albanian state.
“On June 10, 1878, Albanians from all regions united for the first time in centuries around a great cause: the protection of Albanian lands and the building of a common state,” Krasniqi wrote on his Facebook profile.
He emphasized that the League of Prizren was not only a historical act but also a turning point in the political and military organization of the Albanian people, comparing it to the era of Skanderbeg.
