After Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić reported today on a phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Kremlin also issued an official statement.
“Russian President Vladimir Putin had a phone conversation with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić. The leaders exchanged greetings on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belgrade from Nazi occupiers,” the Kremlin announced, according to media in Serbia.
It was added that during the phone call, Putin and Vučić discussed the situation in Ukraine, and that the Russian president assessed the progress of the “special military operation.”
“Both sides expressed satisfaction with the level of bilateral relations, based on spiritual, cultural, and historical unity, sharing similar views on the past and future,” the statement said.
