The Kremlin has issued a stern warning about the potential escalation of conflict after the United States struck three Iranian nuclear facilities, stating that the attacks have significantly heightened regional tensions, Rks News reports.

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov noted that the exact condition of the nuclear sites remains unclear, as does the potential risk of radiation exposure.

Peskov revealed that U.S. President Donald Trump did not inform Russian President Vladimir Putin in advance of the strikes, despite previous discussions between the two about potential U.S. military involvement.

He added that Russia is offering its mediation services, emphasizing that Moscow’s future actions will depend on Iran’s needs and response to the situation.
