The Regional Water Supply Company “Gjakova” (KRU Gjakova) has announced a temporary interruption of drinking water supply in several villages due to damage to water pipelines caused by recent flooding.
According to the company, the water supply pipes along the Erenik River were exposed and damaged as a result of the floods, leading to serious technical issues in water distribution.
Due to the complexity of the technical malfunction, the villages of Devë, Firzë, Vugov, and Zhub will remain without water supply until tomorrow, the company stated.
“We ask for your understanding. Consumers will be informed in a timely manner of any changes in the situation,” KRU Gjakova said in its announcement.
The company further emphasized that technical teams are actively working to repair the damage and restore normal water supply as soon as possible.
