In the Gjakova region, a search and rescue operation has been underway for several days to locate Florian Tabaku from Tropoja, a person with special needs who has been reported missing since October 20, 2025.

The operation is being conducted by teams from the Kosovo Search and Rescue Association (ShKKSH), in cooperation with the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) and the Albanian Armed Forces, which have deployed a helicopter to assist in the search, reports Klan Kosova TV.

“Teams are on the ground and continuing intensive searches to locate him, despite the difficult terrain and challenging weather conditions,” the ShKKSH stated on Facebook yesterday.
