The Kosovo Security Force (KSF) has achieved a significant international success, earning the Silver Medal at the prestigious “Cambrian Patrol” competition organized by the British Army in the United Kingdom.
According to the KSF’s announcement, the team from the 2nd Infantry Regiment of the Land Forces Command participated as part of bilateral military cooperation with the UK and ranked among the best, winning the Silver Medal out of 118 teams, including 35 international teams from 33 different countries around the world.
“The Cambrian Patrol is one of the most challenging military competitions in the world. Teams face rigorous military tasks such as tactical preparation, CBRN threat response, medical operations, reconnaissance and intelligence gathering, assaults, explosive and minefield navigation, water obstacle crossing, field artillery targeting, and prisoner-handling situations,” the KSF statement said.
The KSF team demonstrated extraordinary dedication and high professionalism, achieving an exceptional result in a competition known for its difficulty and demanding standards.
“The KSF team from the 2nd Infantry Regiment of the Land Forces Command showed exceptional commitment and professionalism throughout the competition, earning the Silver Medal. The Kosovo Security Force continues to succeed in international activities,” the statement continued.
The awards for the participating teams were presented by the Chief of the General Staff of the British Army, General Sir Roly Walker. The KSF delegation included Defense Attaché Colonel Agron Bajrami, Commander of the 2nd Infantry Regiment Lieutenant Colonel Jaser Mulla, and Command Sergeant Major Fehmi Lulaj.
