“In line with training plans and in close coordination with SATMO and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Albania, the tactical mortar firing activity is being conducted in Biza, Republic of Albania. This activity aims to increase operational readiness, strengthen regional cooperation between our forces and international partners,” the announcement reads.

The KSF emphasizes that the training included both theoretical and practical components, focusing on three main tasks:

  • Forward Observer

Participants were trained in the safe use of mortars, targeting, firing, coordination procedures, and communication between fire elements and tactical units, as well as in exchanging experiences and best practices with international trainers and advisors.
