The Islamic Community of Kosovo (BIK) has announced that the first day of Eid al-Adha (Kurban Bajram) will be observed on Friday, June 6, 2025.
The central celebration for the territory of Kosovo will take place at the “Great Mosque” (Xhamia e Madhe) in Pristina.

Fajr (Morning Prayer): 04:20
Eid al-Adha (Kurban Bajram) Prayer: 05:35
📖 The thematic sermon for the occasion will be delivered by Dr. Besnik Llumnica, imam of Bardhosh Mosque, Municipality of Pristina.
🕌 The Eid prayer will be led by Hetem ef. Sopjani, Chairman of the Islamic Council of Pristina, and the Eid message (khutbah) will be delivered by the Grand Mufti of Kosovo, Naim ef. Tërnava.
As per tradition, the BIK Presidency will host an official reception for greetings at its headquarters on June 6, from 09:00 to 12:00.
