Acting Minister of Culture, Youth, and Sports Hajrullah Çeku announced that the Kurti 3 government is expected to be formed within 15 days after the Kosovo Assembly is officially constituted.
In an interview with KosovaPress, Çeku explained that the process is currently awaiting the final decision of the Constitutional Court, which had issued a temporary measure until September 30, preventing elected MPs from taking steps toward forming the new government.
“We are waiting for the final decision on September 30, as announced by the Constitutional Court. Once the Assembly is constituted, we have our 15-day period, and I am very confident that within that timeframe, we will have the Kurti 3 government,” Çeku stated.
On U.S. Suspension of Strategic Dialogue:
Regarding the United States’ decision to suspend the strategic dialogue with Kosovo, Çeku said that Serbia has been the main reason for Kosovo’s differences with international partners.
Kosovo has yet to establish new institutions, even eight months after the parliamentary elections on February 9, 2025.
