The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, reacted following the detention of former Kosovo Assembly MP Gramos Agusholli by Serbian authorities at the Merdarë border crossing. He said this case is yet another proof that Serbia does not seek normal and neighborly relations with Kosovo, writes Rks News.

“Serbia spares no opportunity to show that it neither wants nor aims for normal and neighborly relations. The detention of former MP Gramos Agusholli for hours is yet another proof,” Kurti wrote in a public statement.

He added that such practices by Serbian authorities, which aim to intimidate and mistreat Kosovo citizens, must be strongly condemned by the international community.

“Such ongoing practices, used to intimidate and mistreat our citizens, must be loudly and unanimously condemned by the international community,” Kurti said.

In conclusion, he praised local institutions and international partners for their swift response and wished Agusholli well during his stay in Ljubljana, where he traveled after being released.
