In the military training grounds at Babaj of Boka, Gjakova, the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) has commenced a demonstration and military maneuvers as part of the field exercise “Steel Wolf.”
The exercise was closely observed by KSF leaders, including the Supreme Commander and President Vjosa Osmani, Prime Minister Albin Kurti, and the Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci. President Osmani remarked that during the exercise, Kosovo’s soldiers demonstrated skill and courage in overcoming every threat.
“Today, you reaffirmed that we have built and are continuing to develop our army with professional skills and capabilities aligned with the highest NATO standards, and you confirmed that you are prepared to participate effectively in multinational joint military operations in support of peace, security, and regional stability,” she said.
Prime Minister Kurti stated that the exercise represents more than just a test of Kosovo’s defensive capacities.
“This exercise goes beyond a mere testing of our defensive capabilities, as demonstrated today, and it serves as a clear indicator of our army’s readiness, courage, and professionalism. What’s special about this exercise is that it validates the KSF’s second infantry regiment right here, affirming the ongoing development and strengthening of our army toward the highest international standards,” said Kurti.
