Yesterday, the Ambassador of Finland to Kosovo, Matti Nissinen, hosted a working lunch at his residence with the acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, and ambassadors from several European countries accredited in Prishtina.

In attendance were the Ambassador of Sweden, Jonas Westerlund; the Ambassador of the Netherlands, Karin Boven; the Ambassador of Belgium, Grégoire Cuvelier; as well as the Head of Mission of the Embassy of Luxembourg, Eric Dietz.

During the meeting, an open exchange of views took place on current developments in Kosovo, including the process of forming the new Assembly and institutions, as well as broader issues of common interest and cooperation, according to the Finnish embassy’s statement.

The discussions, as stated, emphasized the close and ongoing dialogue between Kosovo and its European partners, with a particular focus on support for Kosovo’s integration path toward the European Union and NATO.

“This meeting underscores the shared commitment to deepening cooperation and advancing the country’s Euro-Atlantic perspective.”
