Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has expressed deep concern over last night’s attack, which he described as having terrorist elements, against the Kosovo Post building in Zveçan. In a strong statement, Kurti labeled the act as an attempt to undermine the country’s security and constitutional order.

He explained that this violent act is a direct effort to prevent the integration of Kosovo’s citizens into the country’s legal and institutional system.

“This cowardly grenade attack in the dead of night is an attempt born from the despair and powerlessness of those who no longer rule in the north of Kosovo,” said Kurti.

He stressed that this attack is an attempt to create artificial tensions and destabilize the functioning of Kosovo’s institutions.

Kurti also mentioned the connection of known individuals with criminal and terrorist groups, such as Milan Radojičić, who continue to remain free and are being exploited by the Serbian government.

“It is concerning that individuals known for their ties to criminal and terrorist groups, such as Milan Radojičić, continue to remain free, sheltered, and exploited by the Serbian government for chauvinistic purposes,” he added, emphasizing that Radojičić’s continued freedom sends a dangerous message encouraging destabilizing actions from criminal and extremist groups.

Kurti highlighted that Kosovo is determined to continue protecting the country’s order and stability and will respond forcefully to any attempts to undermine peace and security for its citizens.

“The freedom of criminal Radojičić and his failure to be handed over to our authorities is a dangerous message that encourages criminals, terrorists, and extremists to continue their destabilizing actions,” he stated.

In conclusion, Prime Minister Kurti emphasized that Kosovo Post will continue to provide services for citizens, and the authorities are investigating to uncover and punish the perpetrators of this attack.

“Kosovo Post will remain as a public enterprise, the new glass will be installed, and legal services will continue to be provided for all citizens,” he emphasized.

The Prime Minister concluded by stressing that the state will act decisively to ensure that all citizens live in a safe and free environment and that no attempt to challenge Kosovo’s constitutional order will be tolerated.
