Kosovo’s acting Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, has publicly supported the United States following its attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities.

In a Facebook post, Kurti stated that the Republic of Kosovo stands with the position of the US and the European Union regarding Iran’s nuclear weapons program, as reported by IndeksOnline. He emphasized that the United States is the “democratic superpower that must be supported.”

“The Republic of Kosovo is strongly committed to defending democratic and Euro-Atlantic values. The US is the democratic superpower that must be supported,” Kurti wrote.

He further elaborated that international security requires less nuclear armament, not more nuclear bombs that endanger all of humanity. “Especially when authoritarian states develop programs for nuclear armament, this issue becomes urgent and alarming,” Kurti added.
