Prime Minister Albin Kurti has congratulated his new British counterpart, Keir Starmer, on his election victory and new position.
“Congratulations to Keir Starmer and the Labour Party for the historic landslide victory last night. We wish you all the best in leading the country and look forward to cooperation,” Kurti wrote on X.
Earlier, President Vjosa Osmani also congratulated Starmer.
“Heartfelt congratulations, Keir Starmer, on your historic election victory! The United Kingdom holds a special place in the hearts of all Kosovars, and I am confident that together, we will work closely to strengthen our long-standing alliance. I wish you success as you take on this important role,” Osmani wrote.
Keir Starmer has been officially appointed as Prime Minister by King Charles at Buckingham Palace following a landslide victory in yesterday’s general elections in the United Kingdom.
