Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, participated in the inauguration of a new park in the Bosniak neighborhood in northern Mitrovica, together with the Mayor of North Mitrovica, Erden Atiq, the Deputy Mayor, the incoming Mayor of South Mitrovica, Faton Peci, and several government ministers.
“We are here together with the Mayor of North Mitrovica, Erden Atiq, the Deputy Mayor, as well as the incoming Mayor of South Mitrovica, Faton Peci, and the ministers, all united for this joyful day – for youth, for children, for the municipality, and for all residents without distinction. I am deeply thankful for the cooperation between central and local institutions, and may this be a blessed day for everyone,” said Kurti.
He also emphasized the importance of upholding the rule of law and constitutionality across all levels of governance.
“Constitutionality and the rule of law will be upheld for everyone, regardless of local administrations or mayors who come and go. The state, the Republic, will stand by you – for Albanians, Serbs, Bosniaks, and for all municipalities,” the Prime Minister added.
