Kosovo’s acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti stated today that after many years, justice is finally being served in two of the most serious incidents to have affected the country’s security institutions.
Kurti said that 14 years after the murder of Enver Zymberi and nearly two years after the murder of police officer Afrim Bunjaku, institutions have taken steps to clarify the cases and bring those responsible to justice.
“14 years after the murders of Enver Zymberi and almost two years after the murder of Afrim Bunjaku, these two heroes of Kosovo, all the criminals who once ruled and profited in northern Kosovo have either fled to Serbia, or are in jail in Kosovo,” Kurti stated.
