The leader of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Albin Kurti, has called on the diaspora to actively participate in the local elections scheduled for October 12 in Kosovo.
In a video posted on Facebook, Kurti emphasized the importance of the diaspora vote, highlighting its decisive contribution in the central elections last February, where Vetëvendosje emerged as the leading force in 22 municipalities.
“Now, with the local elections approaching, let’s make municipalities across Kosovo examples of citizenship, development, and good governance,” he said, adding:
“With your vote, municipalities will have honest and dedicated people working for citizens, while simultaneously removing clans and those who see municipalities as private property from power.”
He urged the diaspora to register to vote, noting that only six days remain to complete the registration process.
