Kosovo’s acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti has dismissed Emilija Rexhepi from her position as Deputy Prime Minister for Minority Affairs and Human Rights, following her election as Deputy Speaker of the Assembly.
“The acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, yesterday relieved Deputy Prime Minister Emilija Rexhepi of her duties, after her appointment as Deputy Speaker of the Assembly from the non-Serb minority communities,” the statement said.
This comes a day after Kurti appointed Blerim Sallahu as the acting Minister of Justice, replacing his previous role as Deputy Minister of Justice.
