The leader of Vetëvendosje, Albin Kurti, is reportedly no longer backing Vjosa Osmani for another term as President.
According to Gazeta Nacionale, Kurti has decided to propose Glauk Konjufca as the candidate for President of the Republic of Kosovo.
The report states that Kurti presented this idea today during his meeting with Lumir Abdixhiku, leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK).
According to the source, Kurti also sought Abdixhiku’s support for Konjufca’s potential candidacy.
No official confirmation has yet been issued regarding the nomination.
