Prime Minister Albin Kurti stated that they have consistently requested the European Union to lift the measures imposed on Kosovo.
In a press conference, he declared that they are awaiting the removal of these measures as soon as possible.
Furthermore, Kurti emphasized that these measures have never been fair and have now become absurd.
“We continuously demand the removal of punitive measures against Kosovo, which have been in place since June of last year. These measures were never justified and have now become absurd, especially since the EU High Representative, Josep Borrell, has written a letter to EU countries stating that these measures should be lifted,” Kurti said.
