The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, in an interview with the British newspaper “The Times” said that Russia is working with Serbia against the Balkan countries that are supporting Ukraine.
“Russia is working with Serbia in disinformation campaigns and cyber attacks against the Balkan countries that are supporting Ukraine, the Kosovar prime minister has warned,” says the article in “The Times”.
The British newspaper has mentioned the military aid that Kosovo has offered to Ukraine and the detention of Russian citizens in Kosovo.
Albin Kurti, the pro-Western leader of the tiny country, which broke away from Serbia after the 1998-99 war, said the Kremlin was using its ties to Belgrade, a staunch ally, to inflame existing tensions in the former -Yugoslavia. Kosovo has provided military aid to Ukraine, including mortar shells and armored vehicles, and is part of a multinational demining coalition in the country. It also passed a resolution to accommodate up to 5,000 Ukrainian refugees and banned Russian citizens from entering Kosovo. A large Ukrainian flag has been displayed in the center of the capital of Pristina.”
