The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, met with Germany’s Special Representative for the Western Balkans, Manuel Sarrazin.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office, during the meeting, they discussed the progress in implementing mobility agreements within the Berlin Process, regional cooperation, and expectations from the upcoming summit, which will be held in Berlin on its 10th anniversary.
“The Prime Minister emphasized that at a time when other parallel platforms were being pushed in the region, Kosovo fully committed to the Berlin Process, seeking to re-energize and strengthen it as a platform that offers equality and accelerates the process of European Union membership for countries aspiring to join,” the statement said.
“It is important that before the next summit, we not only reach new agreements but also ensure the implementation of the agreements we have already signed,” Kurti said, thanking Sarrazin for his contribution and role in strengthening relations between Kosovo and Germany, as well as advancing regional cooperation.
