Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, as part of his official visit to the United Kingdom, was hosted last night for dinner by Minister of State for Defence Lord Vernon Coaker at the Naval and Military Club in London.
The Prime Minister’s Office stated that during the dinner, Kurti thanked Lord Coaker for the United Kingdom’s “historic support for Kosovo,” mentioning in particular assistance to refugees, the role of General Michael Jackson during liberation, as well as post-war state-building, development, and integration.
Kurti said that Kosovo seeks even closer military and defence cooperation, based on shared values and goals.
In this context, he highlighted cooperation in specific areas such as joint deployments, training, and capacity building.
