The Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has made a special post about Albania, highlighting its success in the World Cup qualifiers.
Among other things, Kurti also mentioned the significant victory of the red-and-blacks in Leskovac against Serbia.
He expressed his wish for Kosovo to meet Albania in the final tournament of the FIFA World Cup, which will be held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
“Albania, just like Kosovo, has completed its campaign successfully, advancing to the next stage. We will never forget the victory against Serbia in Leskovac, despite the ban on the presence of red-and-black fans and the national flag, and despite the chants of Serbian supporters against Kosovo, right from the town we know best for its infamous prison.
We hope to meet Albania at the World Cup! Best of luck in the upcoming matches!”, Kurti wrote on Facebook.
