The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, made statements following his meeting today with the President of the European Commission, Ursula Von der Leyen.
He noted that during this fourth meeting at the Government of Kosovo, he thanked Von der Leyen for her leadership in advancing the EU’s Growth Plan.
“We are committed to implementing these reforms through a merit-based process,” Kurti stated.
Kurti also highlighted the importance of submitting the membership questionnaire and requested the immediate lifting of EU measures.
“I reiterated the importance of submitting the membership questionnaire and called for the complete and immediate removal of unjust and unfair EU measures. At a time when autocracies challenge universal freedoms, Kosovo stands as an anchor of the fundamental values of the EU in the Western Balkans,” Kurti wrote.
