The leader of Vetëvendosje and caretaker Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, said he will attend today’s meeting called by President Vjosa Osmani with constructiveness and optimism, following the failure to form a new government earlier this week.
Speaking to reporters after the government’s session, Kurti emphasized that the meeting at the Presidency will focus on the political developments after the unsuccessful attempt to elect a new cabinet.
“The meeting we will have at the Office of the Presidency, I believe, will address the topic for which we were invited, since the government formation failed in the first attempt. I want to go there with optimism,” Kurti stated.
President Vjosa Osmani has invited the leaders of all political parties to meet at 12:00 today, with all of them confirming their participation.
