Prime Minister Albin Kurti, along with his government cabinet, paid tribute at the Adem Jashari Memorial Complex in Prekaz on the 28th anniversary of the UÇK Epopee, Ekonomia Online reports.

Kurti emphasized that the Jashari family is owed a permanent and unending debt for their daily commitment to preserving and defending the state.

“Today, Kosovo has its own army, which is naturally the legacy of Commander Adem Jashari… Together with colleagues from the executive and legislative branches, on the second day of the 28th anniversary of the UÇK Epopee, we came to Prekaz, this central hub of the Albanian uprising, to pay homage, lay fresh flowers, and remind ourselves of the high price paid for an independent and sovereign state, for the freedom of our people,” he said.
